Candyman on west coast snacking:
"On the western front, snacks are dryer
and they do not 'sauce' the interior packaging at all. I had a honey bun
yesterday and the sugar coating was dry, like it is supposed to be. On the
other hand, because of the climate, things like tootsie rolls and baby ruths
are 'harder' than on the east coast."
Candyman, a lifetime New Jersey resident,
moved to Colorado seven years ago, started a new job, cut off his pony tail, and got himself married. His life philosophy? Change is good. So are snacks.
