OFFICIAL NAME OF SNACK:
Crunchy Toasted Corn Nuts,
Original Flavor

PRICE: $.55

WEIGHT: 1.4 oz.

DESCRIPTION OF SNACK:
"Crunchy toasted corn."

SNACK LOOKS LIKE:
Yellow horse teeth. No kidding.

SSI RATING (SNACK SATISFACTION INDEX - 1-10): 8.5

UPSIDE:

Crunchy. Corn flavor. Loud loud loud! Lasts a long time. Mild flavor, you can eat a lot. A Fritos aftertaste.

DOWNSIDE:

When compared to the Jalapeno flavor, not as tangy.

1ST 4 INGREDIENTS:

Corn
Partially hydrogenated soybean and/or canola oil
Salt

LAST 4 INGREDIENTS:

Only three ingredients

PACKAGING:

White "baby ruth like" packaging (looks like ice cream should be inside) but a photo of the horse-tooth-looking corn nuts outside. Does the job, but clearly looks like a "base snack", not a "new and exciting" packaging scheme.

DO I RECOMMEND YOU TRY THIS YOURSELF? (YES/NO - EXPLAIN):

Yes. Satisfying. The crunch can be heard from 19 "giant step" paces away. (I just tested this on a coworker).

HOW CAN THIS PRODUCT BE IMPROVED?

Packaging could be a little more excitement oreinted, but for what they are ("original flavor" ) i guess they should be sort of bland. The "pac man" motif eating the stalk of corn on the package is somewhat lame.

IN THREE WORDS OR LESS, SUMMARIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE: Crunchy corny conundrum.
