UPSIDE:
Chewy. Smooth. Entirely new consistency doesn't crack or fall apart as easily as it used to. Neater to eat. Very dense. Note: 2.05 oz!!!!!
DOWNSIDE:
Not as sweet, caramel is harder and less wispy than before. when you bite into the caramel you get a blunt edge, where you used to get strands of wispy caramel "spider webs" leaking off the edge of the bar.

PACKAGING:
New "plastic" like packaging. Instead of a classic look and feel, Milky Way is now trying to be "hip" and "cool"; it has Generation X writing style on it, the color scheme is different. My guess is this new packaging enables candy bars to withstand longer shelf times and temperature extremes.
DO I RECOMMEND YOU TRY THIS YOURSELF? (YES/NO - EXPLAIN):
YES, it's a good standby snack, I must admit even though it is a great snack, I liked the old one better. It was sweeter and even though less "dense" had a certain charm to the air pockets inside.
HOW CAN THIS PRODUCT BE IMPROVED?
Do what Coke did and have a "new" milky way and an "Old" milky way. Some will like the new, neater, more caramelly MW, and some will like the old one, so why not keep both!!
