UPSIDE:
Really good at first. Just keep popping them into your mouth as soon as the last one melts away.
DOWNSIDE:
After eating about 15 of these Sir Snackalot's stomach went sour and Sir Snackalot was in desperate need of water.
1ST 4 INGREDIENTS:
Sugar
Partially hydrogenated palm kernel oil
Corn syrup
Malted milk
LAST 4 INGREDIENTS:
Tapioca dextrin
Salt
Maltodextrin
Xanthan gum
PACKAGING:
Like Joyva Joys (see Sir Snackalot's review) these bad boys have been around forever. Unlike Joys, they've been able to adapt to a more contemporary packaging and I give them kudos for this!
DO I RECOMMEND YOU TRY THIS YOURSELF? (YES/NO - EXPLAIN):
Yes, it's a classic.
HOW CAN THIS PRODUCT BE IMPROVED?
When compared to the no name Malted Balls you can get at your finer candy store, Whoppers really needs to improve on the chocolate coating. You know how Oreo has "double stuff", Whoppers should have "double dunk" -- two thick coats of chocolate. The chocolate is actually so thin you can see striations of the malted balls underneath (see above for testicle reference).
