UPSIDE:
Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, it did! It’s not like Ben & Jerry’s wild blends where you get more junk than ice cream. No, my friend, this is sophisticated and refined like a Godiva or something fancy like that. The touch of peanut butter is restrained just enough that you can enjoy it, not get overwhelmed and need a glass of milk immediately. You get more for your money than you’d expect. Think in terms of quality, not quantity and you’ll sleep well. Nighty, night.
DOWNSIDE:
I could use just a touch thicker bar. I had snuck it into the movies (damn candy barons!) and by the time I went to eat it, it was close to 98.6 degrees. Granted, it may have made it all the more enjoyable, but try licking the wrapper next to your girlfriend and look cool at the same time. I say unequivocally – not possible.
PACKAGING:
Bright red paper wrapper and foil protection of delicate candy inside. See my notes on the other "crunchy" version of this. I did notice however that the "I" in 'azing" is dotted with an M&M – man they have some way-on-it package designers.
DO YOU RECOMMEND THIS SNACK? (YES/NO - EXPLAIN):
Yes, amigos. Do what’s right. Add a little sophistication to your snacking regime and try it out. But eat it fresh or freeze it first. Do not carry around, you’ll be disappointed.
STRANGEST THING YOU SAW WHILE BUYING THIS SNACK?
I now live in L.A., in the heart of Hollywood. A woman behind me, about 30, had her face tattooed like a mask at a masquerade ball. Visual – she made Mike Tyson look like a wimp with the amount of ink she had on her face. I almost heaved looking at her, but then the M*Azing Milk Chocolate Bar with M&M’S® MINIS® Peanut Butter Chocolate Candies made me quickly forget…until now.
