UPSIDE:
Chocolate and nougat are first-rate.
DOWNSIDE:
Here's the deal. This is nothing more than a 3 Musketeers bar with half the nougat. (Or the same amount of nougat, only half as whipped.) There's nothing wrong with the way this candy bar tastes, but why would you buy it when you get twice the satisfaction from a similarly priced candy bar that's been on the market far longer than the Yoohoo? Also, worth noting, nougat that isn't whipped enough (Yoohoo bar) comes off tasting like grainy fudge. Do yourself a favor and get a 3 Musketeers.

PACKAGING:
Synergistic. If you've had Yoohoo chocolate milk, you're going to recognize this candy bar. But school bus yellow, at least to me, doesn't lend itself to a candy bar wrapper. I just couldn't take this candy bar seriously, even before I opened it. Oh, and I dislike the "50% LESS FAT" call-out. The black writing underneath it says, "Than Leading Chocolate Brands." Yeah, well, while that's true, it's because Yoohoo is comparing itself to Snickers, Milky Way and others that consist largely of caramel, peanuts and thick chocolate. It's not as if Yoohoo has discovered a low fat chocolate bar. They just sell one that consists mostly of nougat. And while I have yet to meet anyone who can tell me what exactly nougat consists of, everyone knows nougat is lower in fat than peanuts and caramel.

Yes, if you don't believe a word I've said so far. Otherwise, get yourself a 3 Musketeers.

They've come this far, why not rip off 3 Musketeers completely? And then co-op with Yahoo! for some big "I Yahoo! for Yoohoo!" sweepstakes promotion.
