OFFICIAL NAME OF SNACK:
Knott's Berry Farm Black Forest Chocolate Cherry Cookies

PRICE: $.65

WEIGHT: 3 oz.

DESCRIPTION OF SNACK:

Rather crumbly chocolate sugar cookies with a small glob of cherry flavored chewy filling in the center.

SNACK LOOKS LIKE:

Brown horse shoes with red sludge in the middle.

SSI RATING
(SNACK SATISFACTION INDEX - 1-10):
6.5

UPSIDE:

DukeDrake commented that the cookies have a nice texture and consistency. I agree. And they taste better the more you eat. The amount of chocolateyness (sp?) is just right, and there are a good amount of individual cookies.

DOWNSIDE:

Many cookies are broken. 21 grams of fat (per bag). Worst part is how Knott's Berry Farm (who own a kick-ass amusement park), a company known for their jams and jellies, skimp on the chewy cherry center. Hey, spend less time on the fancy packaging and more on the chewy cherry center!

1ST 4 INGREDIENTS:

Enriched Wheat Flour and/or Unbleached Wheat Flour
Margarine
Sugar
Cherry Jam

LAST 4 INGREDIENTS:

Eggs
Cocoa
Natural and Artificial Flavors
Salt

PACKAGING:

So nice it's overdone. And way overpromising. Hell, they go so far as to show two actual cherries to hype the cherry chewy filling, and then you get inside the bag and see the amount you get on each cookie could best be described as nothing more than "residue."

DO I RECOMMEND YOU TRY THIS YOURSELF? (YES/NO - EXPLAIN):

Yeah, I guess so.

WHICH SOUTH PARK CHARACTER WOULD LIKE IT BEST?:

Stan's parents.

HOW CAN THE PRODUCT BE IMPROVED:

More filling, less fat.
